Two great opportunities

Well, this doesn't require much thought to blog about. I found out through Jennifer's blog (aka the lactivist) there are two business opportunities that could use your support (if, of course, you want to support these ideas).

Tanya (from motherwear) and colleagues are competing for funds to start up a Mother's Milk Bank in New England. This would be an invaluable resource for babies all over New England who cannot receive their own mother's breastmilk. For more info, go to the Motherwear Breastfeeding Blog

Another is an idea I wish I had thought of myself. It is for a family-friendly cafe, where healthy (not just a less unhealthy) food is served and there is a play area for kids. For more information, visit their blog, Vote Cafe and Play. Maybe they'll rethink starting it in Central Ohio and move to Northeast Ohio instead (a wishful sigh).
